At a passing bar…

It was one of those days in Berlin when the grey sky seems to accompany the slow pace of your footsteps as you walk aimlessly through the streets of Prenzlauer Berg. I was lost in the quiet flow of the streets, looking for a corner where I could work in peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy cafes. And so, almost by chance, I found myself in front of a dark wooden door with a small sign that read ‘Blaumond’. I would never have guessed that such an intimate and special place lay behind this unassuming façade.

As soon as I stepped over the threshold, I was immediately enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The deep blue walls were covered with black and white photographs and old table clocks, giving the place a retro feel, as if time had stood still. Soft lighting and the sound of light jazz created the perfect ambience for concentration, but also for getting lost in thought. The Blaumond Café, with its vintage décor and small wooden seats, was the ideal refuge for those seeking a quiet corner to work, but also for those who wanted to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Sitting in a corner by the window, I found a small table where I could open my laptop and immerse myself in my work, but at the same time I felt pampered by the beauty of the place and the energy it exuded. The smell of freshly brewed coffee mixed with the sweet aroma of homemade cakes. I realised that Blaumond was more than just a café to work in, it was a place where time seemed to slow down, where every detail was designed to create a feeling of intimacy and warmth. A chance encounter that turned a simple break into a small romantic oasis in the heart of Berlin.
